Calling all electrologists to answer the call to arms

Sterex held another successful 2 day Transgender (TG) electrolysis course for qualified practitioners recently. This innovative training course gives an insight into the TG clients ‘life journey’ and ensures practitioners become fully conversant in this specialised subject both practically and theoretically.
TG clients are often the perfect client as their motivation is very strong; they are reliable and often require hundreds of hours of treatment spread over a 1-2 year period. There is a whole new market keen as mustard out there just waiting for electrologists to answer the call to arms!

“The course was very professional and Elaine and Tina ensured that the delegates overcame any embarrassment, awkwardness or difficulties. The TG clients that Sterex provided were quite the most caring, supportive, funny and together group of people I have ever met”
    Frances Martin
“We learnt of the TG journey from members of the TG community in a interesting and informative way and were encouraged to ask questions however difficult or probing they might be which were answered in a honest, forthright and educational way."
    Christine Hughes
“Undertaking this course gave me the confidence to proceed with Transgender clients and the opportunity to enhance my electrolysis skills and knowledge. It was well taught to a high standard. I thoroughly recommend it.”
    Maria Lyons
“To meet such lovely clients so delighted to find someone who is prepared to help them is humbling. I encourage ALL electrologists to go on this course.”
    Helen Clymer
“Elaine and Tina made it quite clear that any of the delegates need only do what they are comfortable with and at all times support was offered in a professional and approachable way“
    Sam Worton
“Sterex has always dedicated itself to improving the quality of the product and the services it provides to its customers, this is apparent in the courses run for colleges and also at our training academy in Birmingham. When it was suggested to me by Elaine Stoddart (Director of Education for Sterex) that we should run a Transgendered course I embraced the idea. With our wealth of expertise and understanding of the nature and sensitivity of this subject area we were well placed to push the boundaries, welcome the opportunity and pioneer this course.

As it happens the Transgendered courses have been a resounding success story and truly welcomed by the attendees, the trainers and models alike. Our mission statement ‘to set the standard for others to follow then strive to exceed it’ has yet again played its part in keeping the Sterex passion for excellence at the forefront of its profession.”
Laurie Cartmell: Director Sterex Electrolysis International Ltd.
Anwen Muston representative of ‘Gender Matters’ gave an interesting, fun, informative and educational presentation to the delegates. Gender Matters is a registered charity providing support to transgender people, their families and friends. They are supported by voluntary donations and grants. They provide support, advice, counseling, training and education, a drop-in facility and other services. Visit www.gender-matters.org.uk
Sterex will be more than happy to feature EVERY electrologist happy to treat the TG client on our website for FREE. Electrologists happy to treat transgendered clients please answer the call to arms and get in touch NOW” said Elaine Stoddart Director of Education & PR for Sterex. “Our aim is to build a nationwide list of practitioners happy to treat this minority group. This is the first ever site which will feature a list such as this and is wholeheartedly welcomed and recommended by TG sites. It’s a Win Win situation. Help build this database to assist their community AND get FREE ADVERTISING at the same time!...... just make sure you are prepared for the stampede!”
