One Day Sterex Student Educational Day

Sterex Electrolysis International Ltd has diversified over the last few years and with the launch of Skin by Sterex Ltd we now have developed and expanded The Blend Workshop previously offered to all colleges in the U.K. on a first come first serve basis. We now offer the opportunity of booking an Educational Day, which will encompass presentations and practical elements of Blend Epilation (as the previous Student Workshops), Advanced Electrolysis Techniques, BioSkinJetting, BioSkinSmoothing, Carat Skin Cosmeceuticals and Nutriceuticals Rejuvenation
Programme

Entry Requirements
Open to all students studying on a full time electrolysis course

Hours of Training
This Educational Day lasts approximately six hours, starting at 10.00am – 4.00pm (flexible)

Aim
This day is designed for students to help motivate, support and encourage them during their electrolysis training and includes both powerpoint presentation and practical demonstrations. It enables the students to experience up to date
treatments and techniques thus furthering their knowledge of current practices available to beauty therapists within the modern Beauty Industry.

Certification
A Sterex Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all students upon successful completion of the day. All Sterex courses are CPD registered and recognised by trade associations and leading insurance companies.

Sterex Training

Principal Objectives
To understand and gain basic knowledge in all of the following:
• Galvanic, Diathermy & Blend modalities
History of the three methods of Epilation
Needle information and recommendations
• Product knowledge and information
Information on suggested pricing and marketing
Treatment techniques and benefits of Blend
Contra indications to treatment
• Reactions to an electrolysis treatment
• Advanced Epilation
A presentation of all aspects of Advanced Electrolysis including, treatment of thread veins, milia, warts, fibrous blemishes, skin tag removal and hair removal from moles.
• BioSkinJetting / BioSkinSmoothing
A presentation of outstanding new anti ageing treatments by Skin by Sterex which utilise a probe and a specialised high frequency smoothing unit.
• Carat
A presentation of the Carat facial, Carat product range and the Nutritional Supplements which, when combined, offer an innovative and highly effective anti ageing treatment from both within the body and on the
surface of the skin. We anticipate this day will be very popular therefore Sterex has to limit numbers and offer it on a first come first serve basis.

Cost
Each Educational Day will cost a minimal fee of only £50 (+ VAT) per College.To supplement our administration costs.
Conference facilities or a Beauty Therapy Room and Powerpoint /Projector facilities will all be required. We regret that we cannot provide anything other than software for presentational purposes. We will of course bring any products and
consumables required for practical demonstration but request prepared couches and trolleys for the practical sessions are provided.
