Aim
To enable the qualified electrologist to successfully carry out advanced electrolysis treatments confidently and
competently using the most suitable method for the clients needs.
Principal Objectives
• Knowledge of the different modalities of electrolysis
• Knowledge of basic dermatology relating to advanced electrolysis
• Understand the principles of treating various skin disorders
• Understand the needle choice and theory
• Understand the causes of various skin disorders
• Understand the contra-indications and after care advice
• Demonstrate confidence and competence in practical techniques of advanced electrolysis
Agenda
The training is delivered over two full days commencing with the history and theory of advanced cosmetic procedures
following with demonstrations and practical work to perfect the skills. At the end of day two there is a written
examination to ensure that all knowledge of the treatment is thoroughly understood.
