Aim
To enable the qualified electrologist to understand and successfully carry out electrolysis treatments using Short
Wave Diathermy/Blend or Galvanic confidently and competently using the Sterex SXB Blend Machine.
Principal Objectives
• Knowledge of the history of electrolysis
• Understand the principles of permanently removing hair using the Sterex three modality methods
• Understand the needle choice and theory
• Understand the contra-indications and after care advice
• Demonstrate competence in practical techniques of the three methods of electrolysis
Agenda
The morning session is held in the lecture room for a power point presentation covering all aspects
of electrolysis. Following lunch a hands on practical session and a client session is held in the Sterex Academy
training salon equipped with all of the latest facilities for optimum standards of training.
Certification
The Sterex certificate is a highly sought after qualification and recognised by trade associations and leading
insurance companies.
