"I have been having electrolysis for 2 years now. I have had my face and neck treated. I am lucky because I don’t have any hair on my chest which needs doing. I started off with my top lip and chin as this was the darkest and most noticeable and have gone outwards towards my ears. During this time I have grown my own hair so I feel feminine. My skin is very soft and I am delighted with the condition of it.

I have also been having more personal area attended to. It took a lot of courage to start this area as it was difficult to show someone bits that I have not wanted to look at myself.

This has been the most intensive work of it all. I have been attending my electrologist fortnightly for the last year just for this area. It has been a challenge to have this area done. Sometimes it was quite painful and I felt that I was not getting anywhere but having a great electrologist really helps. She has been able to give me a treatment timetable along with lots of moral support.

The area is almost completed which works out very well as my surgical procedures are quite soon

Out of all my personal challenges getting the hair growth removed has probably been the hardest, longest and actually most expensive but anyone considering it should not let them be put off by this. It is definitely the most important thing to deal with. I finally feel like the beautiful woman I always should have been."

"My hair removal experience has been vast. I have tried it all, laser, IPL, waxing and epilpro. I got lost of skin reactions, a few burns and most annoyingly constant re-growth.

I was becoming more and more despondent until I was recommended electrolysis. I have now been having treatment for over 3 years which seems like such a long time but have had no reactions and most importantly the hair has gone.

I have had all my lower face and neck fully cleared which I found almost easy to have done. My electrologist was hygienic, quick and methodical. Because of the results I got, I found it easy to move onto the more intimate areas that needed to be done.

When having intimate areas attended to I recommend that you choose your electrologist carefully. Choose someone who has had specialist training in this area because it is so important to get it right and also completed in time for any procedures. I was lucky to have someone had done this area for years. It has made the whole experience so much easier. I had previously had IPL/laser over this area which I found excruciating and did not work. Possibly due to the person, not the machine?

I am happy, confident and now able to start on the next level, which would have been delayed if I had not found electrolysis."
